The Laboratory for Engineered Environmental Solutions (Lab.EES) was established in July 2003 and is housed in Room 154 and Room 150 (Bldg. 36 Boca Raton Campus).

Its mission is to provide access to scientific and analytical equipment for research and training of civil engineers in the environmental discipline.

Lab.EES fosters thesis-based research training to produce the next generation of engineering science educators and researchers, a national priority.

Plans are underway to expand the program in scope to include the integration of research and education in support of laboratory experiences and demonstrations for undergraduate civil engineers interested in environmental protection.
